This package is suitable for pet-only portraits, or pets with families, groups, couples and children.
Up to 60-minute sitting session at our studio with a plain backdrop (background can be altered during retouching).
At least 20 low-resolution, unedited images will be provided in a private online gallery within 24 hours of the shoot.
You can select 5 images for professional retouching and editing.
Final high-resolution digital images (300DPI, 3600px on the longest edge) will be delivered online.
You can select one image to be printed on archival grade,100% cotton matte, black and white or colour, approx 8 x 12 inch size unframed.
This package is $450 (including GST) and requires a deposit of 25%
We can travel to you or your chosen location. If the venue is more than 60 minutes from Red Hill Brisbane a fee of $60 per hour will be charged (pro rata in 30 minute blocks).
Do you have experience with pets?
We have our own dogs, and between us we’ve had cats, chickens, rats, ducks, love birds, and fish as pets. From experience, we know that animals are most happy with their owners, who know them and have developed a trusting relationship.
We are going to be guided by your relationship with your pet, and we will work as best we can with you to get your pet in the best possible place for shooting. This often means treats so please bring along the treats or toys that get the best behaviour from your pet.
If you have a pet we don’t think we can manage, we will let you know.
Working with pets is sometimes a little more difficult and unpredictable so we would expect to have a good conversation with you before you arrive, to make the process as smooth as possible.
How many pets can we have in the photos?
If you are coming to our studio we would probably suggest just one pet, unless your pets are really well-trained and comfortable in new spaces. It’s a case by case decision. Some pets are much happier in their own homes - we can come to you if that's better for your pet or if you have large boisterous pets who are difficult to settle into sit, stay, lie, positions.
Will you photograph me with my pets or do you just do pet photos?
We can do both, but because of the extra work required to place, position, and work with animals we only offer the 60 minute sitting.
You can choose which 5 photos you’d like as final images - a mix of just your pet or you, your family, and your pet/s. Keep in mind that the more people/pets in the photo, the more time it takes to get everyone on task at the same time!
Are there any pets you won’t photograph?
We are pretty flexible but we won’t photograph any dangerous or illegal pets. We might photograph well-behaved carpet pythons or reptiles if owners can show us their permit. We won’t photograph spiders or dangerous/venous reptiles.
How do I book a session?
Click the "Online Bookings" button above. This will take you to the calendar and my client management area. Here, you can book a session online and we will make contact with you to get some more details about your hopes for the session. Once we're both on the same page we can confirm your session with a signed photo-shoot agreement and we will ask for the 25% retaining deposit to secure the booking.

PHOTOGRAPHER: Matthew Hill (referred to as "the PHOTOGRAPHER" or "3HP" or "3hills Photography" in this Agreement) ABN 95 097 312 679
Retainer and Payment
On signing the agreement, the PHOTOGRAPHER will reserve the time and date agreed upon, and will not make other reservations for that time and date. The CLIENT shall make a non-refundable retainer of 25% to the PHOTOGRAPHER to perform the services specified in the invoice.
PHOTOGRAPHER and CLIENT are to arrive for the PHOTOSHOOT at the agreed time and location which will be confirmed 5 days prior to the photoshoot. Refer to the invoice for details regarding products, inclusions, and fees.
Cancellation And Reschedule Policy
3HP requires 5 days notice of cancellation. If the CLIENT cancels the booking and provides five (5) days' notice the deposit they paid will be fully refunded. If the CLIENT wishes to reschedule, the deposit will be held for the future booking.
Retaining fees will not be refunded for late-notice cancellations (<5days) or no-shows.
If the photographer cancels you will receive a full refund of the deposit you paid.
This policy ensures fair compensation for the PHOTOGRAPHER's time and potential loss of income due to cancellations.
Products Supplied
All photographs will be shot in digital format. After the shooting session, 3HP will provide the CLIENT with a selection of low-resolution images to view online in a password-protected gallery that does not have public access. Your password will be your last name in lower-case, no spaces, or hyphens.
Once full payment has been received, the final retouched digital photos will be made available in a private online gallery available for download no later than 6 weeks after the shoot date. Photos will be delivered as high-resolution JPEG files in an online gallery. RAW files will not be provided. When the online gallery is delivered, it will remain open for 14 days from delivery date. Requests for additional photographs or changes to images (which may incur a cost) must be made within 14 days following delivery of the online gallery.
Be advised that RAW files may be destroyed at any time after the online gallery has closed. The CLIENT may download images from the online gallery for personal use only. Downloaded images must not be reproduced in any form including for the purpose of being submitted to contests, reproduced for commercial use or in any other form other than as provided for in this agreement or with the express written license of the PHOTOGRAPHER.

Photographic Materials And Copyright
In accordance with Australian law, you have commissioned the services of 3Hills Photography and Matthew Hill (the photographer) and, as such, 3hills Photography and Matthew Hill (the photographer) own all photographic materials and copyrights. The photographer may use images for samples, contests, exhibitions, advertising, and self-promotion.
CLIENT Use Of Images
The CLIENT agrees to use the photographs/images for personal non-commercial purposes only. Any commercial use, reproduction or distribution of the photographs requires separate written agreement from the PHOTOGRAPHER and payment of additional licensing fees may be applied.
Photographs/images cannot be altered in any way, except where size adjustments are applied for the purpose of uploading to social media platforms or email programs.
The CLIENT agrees to clearly credit the PHOTOGRAPHER when posting images online.
Retention Of Images
Digital images will be stored online by the PHOTOGRAPHER for a maximum period of 3 months from the date of shooting. After this date, images may be deleted and will not be available to the CLIENT for future purchase, alteration or printing.
Liability
The PHOTOGRAPHER is not liable for circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to inclement weather, sudden technical malfunctions (where every effort will be made to rebook if required), or customer lateness. Liability is limited to a full refund of fees paid.
