Alphabet List.pdf

The alphabet is the building block of literacy and children must learn to recognize and name the letters, both in and out of order, and the sounds associated with each letter.

Sight Word List.pdf

Sight words are critical to reading not only because they are used so frequently, but also because many of them cannot easily be sounded out or illustrated. Since they are used so often, it is important that young readers be able to recognize these words on sight (hence the term "sight words").

The goal of Kindergarten is to create a strong foundation for future learning for your child. Incorporating fun ways to making learning fun will promote engagement and can show that learning can be exciting! Here are fun ways to practice sight words that you can do at home with your child.
