UploadingPre-existing Video Files to Wistia

2U supports the use of the Soapbox platform by Wistia for recording video content for your online course. However, you can use any recording software you prefer; you'll just need to take the additional step of uploading your video to Wistia before you can place your video in your course.

Please watch the following tutorial on uploading your videos to Wistia. Remember, once your videos are uploaded, you'll still need to place the videos in your course following the steps here.

Step 1: Log in to your Wistia account

Navigate to the Wistia login page and access your account.

Step 2: Select your course project

If you are working on multiple courses, select the project for the course you'd like to upload your video to.

Step 3: Upload your video

Click on the blue "Upload" button at the top. right of the page. Select the desired video from your computer to begin the upload. Once the upload is complete, you can click into the video and rename as desired.

Step 4: Place your video in your course

Follow the steps here to place your video in the Online Campus.
