Your new faculty training will consist of two components: self-paced modules and live training sessions. The self-paced modules will introduce you to the learning management system (LMS) and the live session classroom. 

The training sessions will provide an opportunity to apply and practice what you have learned in the modules with a Faculty Training Specialist. 

After completing modules 2, 4, 5 and you will be prompted to schedule a training session.

Module 1: Getting Ready to Teach Online (Time Varies):  Module 1 of Teaching Online with 2U Technology introduces you to the Instructional Development team, reviews the resources available to you during your teaching online journey, and reviews the necessary technology set up to teach online with the 2U enabled platform. In this self paced module, you will find an overview of the live session classroom platform, Zoom to get you acquainted with where you will be hosting your live sessions.


Module 2: Navigating the Learning Platform (Time Varies): Module 2 of Teaching Online with 2U Technology focuses on navigating the Atrio learning platform. This module highlights the features of the LMS and how to leverage these features while teaching online with 2U.


Module 3: Planning for Live Sessions (Time Varies): These modules will provide you with a solid foundation of how to effectively utilize the live session classroom. Module 3 will spend time acquainting you with the live session classroom platform, Zoom and how to set up Zoom for your live sessions.


Module 4: Live Session Classroom Activities (Time Varies):  In Module 4, you will learn how to create an engaging live session classroom environment through the use of different live session classroom activities. This module provides you more in-depth resources on how to use the Zoom live session classroom platform to engage your students.


Module 5: Navigating the Gradebook (Time Varies): Module 5 will walk you through how to use the Gradebook feature. The Gradebook allows you to provide your students with feedback on their assignments. The most common features are listed below and described in detail in this module: accessing assignments, entering grades and providing feedback, exams and quizzes, and asynchronous student responses.
