Uploading Video Files to Your Course

2U supports the use of Panopto for recording video content for your online course. However, you can use any recording software you prefer; you'll just need to upload your video to your course.

Please watch the following tutorial on uploading your videos.

Step 1: Turn Editing On

From the Online Campus (Moodle) course page, click “Turn Editing On” from the administration panel.

Step 2: Determine New Content Location

Find the desired media resource, click Edit, then Edit Settings. If not, click the plus button at the desired location to add an activity or resource. From there, navigate to Resources, select Media, then Add.

Step 3: Add Video Information and Launch Panopto

From the updating page, fill out the required fields, which include adding a title and content. Click the Panopto icon in the toolbar to launch the Panopto module.

Step 4: Select and Add the Video

From here, you can choose to add an existing video within your 2U Panopto account, Upload a video stored on your computer, or record a new video directly to .

NOTE: When uploading media, make sure the course folder is selected in the drop down, not your personal Panopto folder. Students will only have access to media located in the course folder.
