Quick Access
Right-click (or two-finger tap) on the webpage.
Select "Translate to..."
The Translation Menu will pop up on the right side of the Chrome address bar.
Use this menu to easily toggle between the original and translated languages.
You can find more languages and other options in the Translation Menu on the far right of the address bar.
The translation feature will not work on the following types of content:
Text contained in PDFs or pictures.
Simulations or other live content.
The contents of a Google Doc.
Translating a Selection
Don't want to translate the whole page? Simply highlight the text you're interested in, right-click it, and select "Translate to..." The resulting translation will appear in the Translation Menu pop-up.
Translate Automatically
In the Translation Menu, click the "stop-light" icon to adjust your translation settings.
Choose "Always translate English" if you want pages to automatically translate the moment they load.
To revert the page to English, simply use the options in the Translation Menu.
You can tailor your preference on a per-site basis by choosing "Never translate this site" for any website you want Chrome to keep in English.
Remember, even after setting these defaults, the translation menu allows you to manually change the language at any time.
