Testing 

High School Testing - All 4 year colleges/universities require some type of entrance exam for admissions. SAT is also used by many 2 year/junior colleges for placement purposes. College Entrance Exams: ACT and SAT are both college entrance exams. Most 4 year colleges will accept either an ACT or an SAT score. 


ACT  - April 24th 

ACT is the required state assessment for Illinois for the 2024-25 school year. All Juniors in the state of Illinois will take the ACT as a part of the Illinois state graduation requirements on a state designated testing day in April 2025. Sitting for the ACT is a diploma requirement. 


PACT8/9 - All 9th graders will take the practice SAT in April of 2025.

PACT10 - All 10th graders will take the practice SAT in April of 2025.

KHAN Academy - Practice online for free for the ACT.




IAR - Illinois Assessment of Readiness is for students in grades 3-8. Students are tested in English Language Arts and Mathematics. 

ISA - Illinois Science Assessment is for students in grades 5 and 8.
