This Privacy Policy describes how Task Planner ("the App") handles information when you use our mobile application.
1. Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data. The App operates entirely offline and does not connect to the internet. The App does not have internet access permission and cannot transmit any data from your device.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following information locally on your device only:
Tasks — titles, due dates, times, notes, and subtasks you create
Categories — names and colors you configure
App preferences — theme, week start day, auto-delete setting, sort and subtask display preferences
All data is stored exclusively in a local database and local preferences on your device. It is never sent to any server, third party, or external service. We have no access to this data.
3. Third-Party Services
The App does not use any third-party services, including analytics, advertising, cloud storage, crash reporting, or social media integrations.
4. Permissions
The App requests the following Android permissions, all used locally:
Notifications — to display local task reminder notifications you schedule
Exact Alarm — to trigger reminders at the exact date and time you set
Boot Completed — to reschedule reminders after device restart
Vibrate — to vibrate when a reminder appears
The App does not request internet, camera, location, microphone, contacts, or any other sensitive permissions.
5. Home Screen Widget
The optional widget displays today's tasks by reading from the local database. It does not transmit any information.
6. Data Deletion
Delete individual tasks and categories within the App
Use "Clear all data" in Settings to delete everything
Uninstalling the App removes all stored data
7. Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
