Where can I find Lip fillers Kansas City

Nikky
Co-Owner / Aesthetician

I have always been obsessed with the beauty industry and everything about it. At a very young age my mom taught me how to take care of my skin, she always told my sister and me how important it is to wash your face and she always bought us the best products. It just stuck with me I guess. When I was finally of age to work, I always had a job in the beauty industry working at cosmetic counters. As much as l loved makeup, it was the skincare products that excited me more. I decided to go to esthetics school in 2000. It's been such an inspiring journey since. I’ve met so many great and knowledgeable humans along the way in this industry. I met Sean, who is not only my business partner but my bestie. And most importantly, I get to help people feel great about themselves.

I love how this industry is forever growing. I enjoy learning about new treatments, technology, and products that I can use in my treatment room to deliver the best results to my patients. When you love what you do it’s not work and I absolutely LOVE my “job”!

Sean

Co-Owner / Nurse Practitioner / Nurse Injector
I’ve always wanted to get into Medical Aesthetics ever since I can remember, but it’s a tough industry to get into. After practicing Primary Care for the under/uninsured in the Kansas City Metro area for a couple years as a nurse practitioner, I was able to breakthrough. In 2015, I joined a surgical organization where I was the lead nurse practitioner for the facial plastic surgery division. Working there provided me the foundation to my injection career. In 2017, I left this surgical organization and started working in a medical spa where I soon became the Lead Injector. It was at this medical spa that I met Nikky. After working together for a year we decided to open up Face KC Medical Spa in February of 2019. I am now a Master Injector who focuses primarily on injectables and I wouldn’t change a thing!

It’s a wonderful feeling to be a business owner, but an even better feeling because I’m doing what I’ve always wanted to do-Medical Aesthetics.

These fillers dissolve easily and last for up to a year.

The areas that may be treated include the temples, cheeks or nasolabialfolds as well as the jawline. In the beginning, most people will need three treatments spread over several months. Then they may only require one treatment every year. The results can last up to two years.

What is HydraFacial, exactly?

HydraFacial serums are made from nourishing ingredients to give you an instant glow.

To reveal a new layer of skin, the first step is to cleanse and peel the skin. To resurface and prepare the skin for painless extractions, a light chemical treatment is used. Next, debris from the pores is removed using painless suction. The skin is then nourished. The skin is then infused with antioxidants and peptides to enhance its glow. It is quick and easy!

What is Dermaplane, exactly?

Dermaplaning is a surgical procedure that uses a medical-grade blade to remove dead skin and other debris. A single session of dermaplaning is capable of removing approximately 2-3 weeks' worth of skin cells and debris. Dermplane is painless and non-invasive. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. The hair will not grow back darker - dermaplaning targets vellus hairs (peach fuzz), which are the same size as the original. It does not appear thicker due to the way that the blade is used. This treatment does not require downtime.

What is Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel refers to a treatment that uses a chemical solution to exfoliate the top layers of skin. Lashes & Brows?

We can't forget our brows and lashes! We all know that lashes as well as brows have a huge impact on our overall beauty. We color the hair on our head so why not our lashes and brows? By coloring the hair from the base to the tip, a lash tint or brow tint can give the illusion that they are fuller and more long.

Take it up a notch with a lash lift. This can add a semi permanent curl to your lashes that can last up to 6 weeks. You can save time and avoid using mascara and lash curlers by doing a lash/brow tint or a lash lift instead.

Don't have time for a lash tint or lash extensions? Latisse can help! You can get your lashes darker and thicker in as little 8 weeks with this at-home treatment.

What is Medical Grade Skincare?

Perhaps you are wondering what medical grade skincare means. To begin, these skincare products usually have higher active ingredients concentrations than the ones you might buy over-the counter. That means quicker results in less time. Medical-grade skincare products can penetrate the skin deeper than other products, which is a big advantage over cheaper, more superficial products. While some products may cost more than others, you'll know that the products you purchase are high-quality and have been clinically tested to ensure optimal results.

Sounds great, right? We believe so. You'll see that we have our top picks from three medical-grade skincare brands: SkinCeuticals and SkinMedica.
