Welcome to Zeeland Recreation Basketball!
Zeeland Recreation offers Basketball to 3rd-6th graders. The basketball leagues purpose is to improve skills, have fun, and to make lifelong memories! The 3rd-4th grade league includes one practice per week and one game each Saturday. The 5th-6th grade league includes 1-2 practices/week and games on Saturdays against other Lakeshore teams. Game Schedules for this league are organized by the city of Holland Recreation Department. Volunteer Coaches will be signing up for practice time slots through Zeeland Recreation.
What is the Lakeshore League?
The lakeshore league is a youth sports league made up of recreation departments throughout West Michigan. The members are City of Holland, Fennville, Hamilton, Holland Charter Township, Park Township, Saugatuck, and Zeeland. Each member takes responsibility for a different sport throughout the year with planning things like game schedules, officials, etc. All teams function under rules put in place by all the Recreation departments.
