TAG Information

Junior High TAG

Students in grades 7-8 work on a variety of units including the following:

  • Discovering Your Gifted Self
  • Number Systems
  • Civilizations
  • Travel, Culture, and Budgets
  • Visual Art, Illusions, and Perceptions
  • Mass Hysteria
  • High School, College, and Career Planning
  • Independent Studies

In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in a fall and a spring online Quiz Bowl.

High School TAG

Students in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to explore a wide range of pursuits. Independent study projects are encouraged and supported, but other units include the following:

  • Wellness and Goal-Setting
  • Film Studies, including Music & Movies as well as documentaries
  • MakerSpace & STEM Activities
  • Philosophy
  • Personal Finance/ Planning to Pay for College
  • Gifted Person Research Presentation
  • College and Career Planning

Students are also encouraged to explore online college courses, participate in test prep activities, and build their college resumes with extracurricular pursuits.

Students in all grade levels (7-12) are invited and encouraged to participate in whole-group activities including Fun Day Friday, Breakout Boxes, and Instant Challenges to support their critical, creative, and strategic thinking as well as their social and emotional development.
