Welcome Letter

September 2022

Dear 1-C Students and Families,

Welcome to 1^st Grade! I am thrilled that you will be a part of 1-C this year! I hope you all had a fantastic summer! I can hardly wait to hear about all the fun you and your families have been having. I have spent most of my days working by the beach, spending time with family and getting our classroom ready for a new and exciting school year.

Our classroom theme is Mrs. Carotenuto's Caring Kids. As a caring kid, you will will be an expert at demonstrating three special character traits! Compassion, Courage and Cooperation. Think "Mrs. C's 3 C's." This year, all caring kids will explore, learn and discover the world of Reading, Writing, Math, Science and even Social Studies.

On the first day of school, please be prepared to share an adventure you went on this summer. I will do the same. This will give us a chance to get to know all our new friends. I can’t wait to meet you on Wednesday, September 7th!
