Fee's for Choir are paid through GiveButter campaigns. This allows you to pay through multiple different ways like Venmo, Applepay, paypal...etc.
The things you will pay are your informal attire (tshirt $10), formal attire ($25/$100) and participation fee ($65). We will fundraise throughout the fall which can cover your participation fee. Find out more below.
Our annual participation fee helps each of our students have a phenomenal experience while being in the Choral Program. Students can fundraise this amount through our fundraisers each month in the fall, or pay it in full through our Choral Boosters. Participation fee's will cover the sheet music and binder, musician fee's for performances, materials for classroom activities and learning. This will also cover costs for our spring fieldtrip to perform for our Music Performance Adjudication at Meredith College (March). Just remember that this $65 lasts us the ENTIRE year! Choir tshirts will be worn at our first informal performance on October 3rd and all social events in and out of school that represent the choir.

Our formal attire is worn at any performance event like our Winter and Spring Concerts and on our Music Performance Adjudication fieldtrip. This attire can be worn every year and does not change. We can also exchange attire (free of cost) if a student grows out of it over their time in choir.

A student starting in the MCHS choirs for the first time can pay $100 for a new formal attire or $25 for a Resale attire (if we have the correct size) All students will be responsible for providing their own black dress shoes.
*Resale attire is attire that has been returned by past singers. It has been professionally cleaned and can be tailored to fit the student.
Option 1: Floor length Black Dress
Option 2: Suit A- White Collared shirt and vest, Black pants with bowtie (All Tenor/Bass singers will wear a Black Jacket this year)
Option 3: Suit B- Black Collared shirt with Black pants
Shoe suggestions: Students will be wearing these for a few hours at a time, so it's important for a 2 inch heel or lower, and "comfortable".
