Mrs. Jessica 1st Grade

Hi! I am Mrs. Jessica Foster.  This will be my 11th year teaching at Bell Elementary! I have taught 1st grade for seven years and 2nd grade for three years. I love TEACHING! I love seeing kiddos become readers, enjoy it, comprehend it, and begin to love it. Hearing a child read is music to my ears! I love for children to get to experience math using manipulatives and become fluent with numbers.

I graduated from Wayne County High School is 2003. I received by Bachelor's from Cumberland College and my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from the University of the Cumberlands. I am currently pursuing my Rank 1. 

I am married to Mark Foster and we have 3 beautiful, amazing children: Emma (13), Allison (11), and Levi (8). I value family time and count every day as a blessing with them. We also have two dogs, Tex and Ranger, cows, and bees. I enjoy my family, reading, church, and living in the country.
