Yuanwei Xu (Coco)

Hi! I was a post-doc researcher at the Ruhr University Bochum and coordinated the INTEGRATE project, until December 2024. Since May 2025, I work as a customer insight engineer at Finanz Informatik, focusing on the central automation of marketing for the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. 

I enjoy working with complex, non-standardized micro-level data on individuals and households, uncovering patterns and identifying statistically significant insights through data analysis. 

I finished my PhD studies in Economics in March 2022, within the research training group "Globalization and Development (GlaD)" collaborated between the Universities of Goettingen and Hannover. 

My research interests include environment and development economics. I collect survey data, run field and online experiments and utilize microeconometric methods for causal inference.
