SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

The duration of the Symposium is one day. The registration of YRS 2019 will open at 8 am. The symposium will start at 9 am and will finish at 7 pm. It will consist of:

  • two plenary talks (opening and closing) in the fields of Chemical Biology and Computational Chemistry,
  • a session focused on Professional Career within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • a session of Coaching.

PRIZES

Three prizes will be awarded to the best oral communication, the best flash oral communication and to the best two posters:

  • best oral communication (500 €), sponsored by Molecules.*
  • best flash oral communication (250 €) + 2 prizes for the best posters (125 €), sponsored by Grupo Juste.

*To aspire to the prize, it is mandatory to place the logo of Molecules in the first slide of your PPTX presentation. A template for the participants is provided here.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS & POSTER PRACTICAL INFO

Oral Communications

Each Oral Communication slot lasts for 15 minutes (including questions). It is important to be adhered to this time. The slides can be presented as PPTX (PowerPoint) or PDF format. The PPTX slides should be prepared for a Standard format (4:3).

In order to be considered as candidate for the best Oral Communication, it is mandatory to include the logo of Molecules in the first slide of the presentation.

Flash Oral Communications

Each Flash Oral Communication slot lasts for 5 minutes. This format is though to be a dynamical presentation of your results in a compact but dynamical way. No questions will be allowed during or after each of the talks. Amid this format, we encourage all the participants to focus on the main achievements of the project with a short introduction to get into the problem. As for the oral communications, it is important to be adhered to time (5 min in this case).

The slides can be presented as PPTX (PowerPoint) or PDF format. The PPTX slides should be prepared for a Standard format (4:3).

Poster session

The Poster session will be carried out during the coffee time after lunch in the Cafeteria. About the standard size of the poster we recommend 90 cm (horizontal) x 120 cm (vertical).

Each of the posters will get a number in the book of Abstracts. The participant will find their poster ID at the Book of Abstracts. The jury will evaluate the best Poster during the Poster session after lunch.
