Yilong Xu

I'm an assistant professor of finance (with tenure) at Utrecht University, the Netherlands.

Before joining Utrecht, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Behavioral Finance (Stefan Trautmann) in the Economics Department of the Alfred-Weber Institute at the University of Heidelberg.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics at Tilburg University, the Netherlands. I also obtained my M.Sc. in Economics, M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science, as well as B.Sc. in Economics at Tilburg University.

My research interests lie primarily in the area of Inequality & Ethics, Experimental Finance, and Fundamental Aspects of (Financial) Decision-making.
