We are interested in probing biological questions using engineering approaches. By utilizing Organ-on-a-chip and Synthetic biology techniques, we try to better understand and utilize host-microbiome crosstalk to develop better diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Our lab is based at the Department of Bio & Brain Engineering at KAIST.

우리는 공학적 접근방법으로 다양한 생물학적 문제들을 탐구하는 연구실입니다. 생체모사칩 (Organ-on-a-chip) 그리고 합성생물학 (Synthetic biology) 기술을 다양하게 개발하고 활용하여 사람-마이크로바이옴 간의 상호작용을 연구하고 마이크로바이옴 기반의 진단, 치료법을 개발하고자 합니다. KAIST 바이오및뇌공학과에 위치하고 있는 우리 연구실에 관심이 있는 학생, 연구원들은 언제든 연락 바랍니다!
