What We Do

Who we are

Student Government (SGA) is a club that provides students the experience and training in the democratic form of the government. This group of students is charged with the duty of continuously expanding and coordinating a program of student activities, to stimulate interest and support in the development, assessment and execution of educational, social, cultural and recreational programs, to develop communication amongst students, administration and faculty. In effect, to represent the best interests of the general student body.

What we have accomplished

Throughout the years, Student Government has initiated, executed and planned the Annual Talent Show, Dancing with the Staff, 5K Run/Walk, Teachers Challenge, Florida Panthers Game Fundraiser, Hockey Night, Valentine's Day Sales, Teacher Appreciation Day, iMovie Presentations, Ice Cream Bar and Scrapbooks containing pictures and moments throughout the year. Furthermore, our Student Government has been instrumental in the Harvest Drive and 5th Grade Showcase Night. SGA has been represented in the SAC Meetings as well. Lastly, Student Government has developed a strong relationship with the Parkland Community, including the Mayor and Commission.
