About

I run a small craft studio located in Hadley, Massachusetts supplying turned art made from local and exotic woods.

I strive to have fun and make people smile through the products I create and sell.

Bio

Electro-Mechanical R&D Technician by day, woodturner by night. I love to make shavings in the studio whenever I can.

My first experience at a wood lathe was in 1993 when I turned a queen sized red oak bed with no training whatsoever. I didn't know what the different tools were supposed to be used for, I didn't know how to sharpen them and I was working on a brand new, inexpensive Delta lathe with centers that weren't centered. Looking back I still wonder how I ever finished that bed. It was the first and last thing I turned for many years.

Today I make Christmas ornaments (my favorite), bottle stoppers and openers, pens, bowls, jewelry, and many other things. If you like what you see here poke around my website to see more of what I've been working on.

Wood Products

My turned wood products include Christmas ornaments, pens, muddlers, bottle stoppers, small toys and more. Browse through the store to see what's currently in stock. If you don't see what you're looking for, please contact me, I may be able to create a custom design just for you.

Tools

In addition to my wood products, I design and supply tools for wood turning hobbyists and professionals. My line of wood turning tools is small but I have a number of projects currently in the design and testing phases. Check back often to see what's new.

If you need a custom tool designed please me know. I've been designing components, jigs and tools for over 25 years. I strive to make wood turning safer, easier and more consistent.
