We invite you to join WiCV’s Slack workspace here where you can interact with other attendees of the workshop, ask questions from presenters and get in touch with organisers about any technical issues on the day. All announcements on the day will be made in the Slack group.

Oral/Poster presentations: We request the presenters to join the Zoom room (same as that on the ECCV website) 10 minutes prior to their session in case of any technical issues. Each poster session will have a dedicated slack channel according to the poster session ID.

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations will be 10 min + 3 min Q&A. The authors could choose to either present the pre-recorded video (recommended) or do a live presentation provided that they will not exceed their allocated time. Do what you feel most comfortable with. Oral presentations will also be allocated poster rooms so further questions could be asked during the poster session.

Posters

Poster presentations will be in dedicated gather.town spaces according to the poster session ID. We grouped the posters by topic so the interaction is easier for visitors and presenters with common research interest. Keep in mind that gather.town allows multiple interactions between participants at the same time, resembling a real poster session. You will also have a dedicated slack channel in case you want to continue the discussion after the workshop.

We recommend authors to share their screen in order to present their material, which could either be the 1 minute video you previously uploaded or your own slides, choose whatever you feel most comfortable with. This session is very flexible as you might receive various visitors in your gather.town space who will ask questions and suggestions about your work. It is a great opportunity to discuss your research and get some ideas for future projects.
