CSUF offers many resources to succeed in graduating with a bachelors in Computer Science
For new freshmen and transfer students you can take the Placement Exam to get credit and skip 120, 121, and/or 131 classes! More info: http://www.fullerton.edu/ecs/cs/resources/placement.php
Exam in Programming Proficiency - EPP determines whether you have the basic programming skills needed to succeed in upper division courses and focuses on 121, and 131. http://www.fullerton.edu/ecs/cs/_resources/pdf/CS301Info.pdf
After completing the lower division courses (120, 121, 131) all Computer Science majors are required to complete the EPP (CPSC 301)
You're not required to enroll in the class to take the test, you can show up to take
If you fail the exam you're required to attend the CPSC 301 course and the final exam will be the EPP
