WHAT DOES EMPOWERMENT MEAN?
While it's good to offer people a fish, it is better to teach people how to fish. Consequently, We Care We Share takes a two fold approach to ministry.
Presently, we strive to be a one stop shop meeting needs. Many local groups set up tables and offer free services. Medicare & Medicaid sign ups, LACADA addiction services, Cornerstone pregnancy services, parish nursing, Loraine County public heath, counselling and pastoral care to name a few.
However, in the near future, with the help of community grants, we'll be starting a workforce development program. This program includes a professional computer lab, online training program, and job coaching.
HOW DO I DONATE?
