About

The West-Central Ok ARC was born around 1972 as area amateurs joined together to support a vhf repeater.  That repeater being a split site system on 146.94-.  Although a bank account has been continuous, the club has been on/off as far as meetings and activities.  The original thought was to fund expenses of the repeater.  The social aspect declined as attendance at meetings slowed.

WCOARC was incorporated on 03/22/1990.  The original by-laws & constitution were lost in a house fire when the home of Earl Bottom, N5NEB, was completely destroyed.  A new surge of interest in late 2019 caused the creation of new by-laws & constitution - officers elected, and meeting times & dates set.

The West-Central OK ARC meets on the third Sunday each month, except December, 3pm @ the club hut 105 Allee Drive, Elk City
