Ways of change
We have organized two foresight sessions with our team and developed a number of scenarios for Uzhur in 2050. We have chosen three of them that seem the most possible for our team members.
POSITIVE Scenario
In 2050, the population of the planet will be about 9 billions people, which will lead to the urgent need in the increase of agricultural production in order to avoid hunger. In this respect, Uzhur will become one of the most important producer of grain, dairy products and meat in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and beyond.
Uzhur will be united with the nearest villages and towns such as Kulun, Vasilevka and Salgon. The newest innovative equipment will be purchased. An agricultural university will be opened (in order to have educated specialists). In our Uzhur district it would be possible to arrange a field with wind generators that would provide the city with electricity. Robots will work in the fields and farms, and people will only control them.
Negative scenario
In 2050, the world's population will exceed 10 billion people and in each city of Russia will live more than 1 million people. But the resources and infrastructure in Siberia will not be enough. So people will be forced to leave for other cities in other countries . Our city Uzhur will begin to lose its population and in 5 years it will be reduced by 3 times. In the next 20 years in Uzhur only about one hundred people or even less will live. Once populated and nice city will start to get empty . The streets will be abandoned. The shops will be closed. The trees will grow on the houses slowly destroying them. And little by little Uzhur will become a ghost city.
ONE MORE scenario :)
In 2050 the aliens will come to our city and also to the nearby places such as Kulun, Vasilevka and Salgon.
And these cities will be overpopulated with both humans and non-humans.
Iskra company (our biggest agricultural producer) will cooperate with other companies as well as with Aliexpress to provide food to everybody. There will be a lot of products, goods, but this will not be enough for a large number of residents. Instead of old houses new skyscrapers will appear causing the intensive use of the land.
The atmosphere will be polluted, there will be acid rains. And the inhabitants will be forced to wear masks. People will try to build houses in the air and on the water trying to reduce the population. The President of the world will start colonization of Mars and other planets to create new places to live.
Sooner or later many people will move to other planets to reduce the earth's population and find new resources for life.
Those who stay on the Earth will restructure their economy and lifestyle to become a part of a huge interplanetary system.
