Membership

Distinguished Membership

For those who are actively involved in the Freshman Business Association, the title of Distinguished Member is awarded in their honor. This can be listed on the member's resumé and then becomes a great talking point for an employer to see evidence of dedicated involvement in an organization. In order to qualify for FBA's Distinguished Membership one must meet the following criteria:

4 General Meetings

2 Social Events

2 Service Events

2 Extra Events

(Extra Events can either be Social, Service, Professional, etc. )

For the members who earn this achievement, there will be a special incentive at the end of the semester.

Officer Program

As a business organization, FBA understands the importance of leadership skills in the professional world and in one's life. As a result, FBA allows members to take on leadership roles within an organization, something organizations rarely offer for freshmen. The FBA Officer Program has fostered many young leaders over its existence and has molded past members into campus leaders and mentors in many different fields. Positions available include:

Social Officer

Community Service Officer

Member Relations Officer

These officer positions will aid and assist their respective director in special duties that will allow each officer to gain invaluable experience, putting himself or herself at a great advantage as he or she creates and refines new skill sets and talents as a student leader.
