Keeping Business Fresh Since 1993

The Freshman Business Association is an organization that offers freshmen at The University of Texas at Austin the resources to succeed in business and life. In addition to being the largest professional organization open to all freshmen interested in business, FBA encourages its members to be proactive academically and professionally by exposing them to all the opportunities McCombs has to offer, whilst maintaining a fun, social environment to promote strong friendships and lasting experiences.

FBA's mission is to cultivate and develop newly admitted business students into well-rounded young professionals through not only academics and professional development, but also through various outside activities.

Our members will develop invaluable skills through our events and workshops, where we will teach and explain many critical prerequisites that students must have to thrive at the McCombs School of Business and in the their future careers.

Our members also will take part in excursions and activities off-campus. In order to help transition incoming freshmen, we give members a social platform where they may create relationships and friends within the organization but in a fun, amicable environment and atmosphere.

FBA members have the opportunity to engage in many service and philanthropic endeavors throughout their membership. Previous members have given back to their community with consistent turnouts at the numerous service project opportunities, and have fostered a familial environment through their experiences.
