Welcome to the Tucson High Orchestras!
Despite the challenges we face this year, Mr. Miners & Ms. Yusupov are excited for the opportunity to explore music in new and exciting ways! While we're using online instruction, we have a suite of powerful tools ready to help you become a stronger and more well-rounded musician.
Learning platforms
Here are the primary learning platforms we will be using this year. When we are ready to create your accounts, be sure to use your TUSD account to log into each of them (yourmatric@s.tusd1.org). You should be able to visit our Team as soon as it pops up in your list.
Instruments & Uniforms
We will be distributing instruments in the week of 17 August. You will get an allocated time to collect your instrument and/or uniform. More information to come next week. Uniforms will be distributed closer to our first performance, whenever it may be.

Meet the directors
Ms. Yusupov
Ms Yusupov moved to Tucson in 2016 from Brisbane, Australia. She is finishing her studies in cello performance at UofA and in her spare time enjoys hanging out with her pets, Goshka and Mina. She enjoys playing chamber music, traveling and baking.
Mr. Miners
This is Mr. Miners's 16th year directing the orchestras at Tucson High, and he is also an alumni! Beyond teaching music, Mr. Miners loves hiking, gardening, and mountain biking.
