NORTH MACEDONIA MOBILITY

GET TO KNOW NEW CULTURES AND FORMING BRAIN TEASERS CLUB

It has been a game changer on the way that we were able to formatively assess students, get good feedback, get their live real-time answer and then use that information to plan and assess.

In line with the guidelines of the Erasmus+ program, had offered a wide combination of activities (ice-breakers, quizzes, exercises, energizers, role plays, simulations, debates, outdoor activities), each of them connected to one or more themes: discovery of new cultures, habits, and lifestyles, promotion of diversity, intercultural dialogue and common values, such as freedom and social inclusion.

The conclusion of this project has been brain teasers- held by participants.

This mobility has been an exchange project aimed at promoting values of brain teasers as a tool to remove cultural barriers, to encourage integration and cooperation among people of different cultures, and to stimulate creativity. The project had the goal to increase both the skills of young participants in the learning process by brain teasers and their awareness on the EU values (e.g.: social inclusion, solidarity, and active citizenship). The content related to LTT was shared on schools ’and project’s official website and also on social media platforms.

Benefits for the Participants

In the process of the achievement of activities, participants completely provided with vital benefits. Students, as well as their teachers, became familiar with the cultures of various countries and united with new nations. Forming a Brain Teasers Club (created during Covid pandemics) was a way for students to exchange good practices and they were able to discover their capacities and intelligence types by playing different Brain Teasers which addressed their multiple intelligence abilities and they were able to gain self-reliance about being successful.

Teamwork, besides cooperation and collaboration, led to a sense of belonging on the participant students. While playing pre-determided games, they both developed intimacy with each other, learnt how to use their time productively and gained self-confidence.

Preparations of wall panels and presentations about their countries' historical places developed a sense of responsibility for students. Displaying informative wall panels provided the participants with the necessary information about Erasmus + and extended their information to all schools. Students' participation was  planned regularly with the detailed agenda of the meeting and it helped them to complete their preparations for mobility on time.

The knowledge acquired during Macedonia mobility  disseminated with the meeting after the mobility. In the long run, dissemination of the process  effectuated by means of the website and Brain Teasers club and they also offered the students to follow up on the activities and develop ICT skills.Students; learned group work, good team relations, created a positive image that handles things with more discipline, reinforced self-control,problem-solving skills and initiatives, investigated the literary performance and acquired all-round,harmonious and developing personality.
