Tan N. Nguyen is current Assistant Professor of Department of Architectural Engineering of Sejong University, Korea. He graduated Master of engineering from Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology (HCMUT), one of the best universities in engineering field of Vietnam. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from Sejong University (South Korea) in 2019. His researches focus on developing numerical methods, application robust methods to model structure considering modern materials and new theorectical models. In addition, he also investigates highly nonlinear problems, instability of structures and applies deep learning to structural analysis.

A paper on a novel data-driven nonlinear solver for solid mechanics using time series forecasting has been accepted for publication in Finite Elements in Analysis and Design (FEL). FEL is a good journal, top 10% in computational mechanics. (December, 2019).
Mr. Nguyen has successfully defended his PhD thesis, November 26, 2019.
