COURSE 1: 18 movements Form Chen Style Taiji (陈太极拳十八式) (3 sessions)

It is a simplified and smaller version of the traditional form of the 74 techniques Chen Lao Jia Yi Lu (陈太及老家一路), created by Master Chen Zhenglei (Chen Zhenglei, 11th generation succes-sor of the Chen Tai Ji Chuan family) and is widespread. The form is suitable even for beginner students because it has all the elements of Chen Tai Chi while the sequence is easier. It offers the experienced practitioner the space to express and develop the basic principles, energies and tech-niques of Chen. The form is divided into 2 sections. • From the first to the tenth technique where the practitioner is introduced to the various foot positions. • From the eleventh to the eighteenth technique, with a higher difficulty index of one and has side moves, kicks, jumps and spins from the last section of Lao Jia Yi Lu. The benefits of practicing Chen Tai Chi are many. In addition to its combative ap-plication, it promotes good health, on a physical and mental level. For all levels.

COURSE 3: Walking Neigong for Taijiquan  (3 sessions)

We will work on several Methods for developing Jin („Internal Energy“), especially Peng-Jin through Walking Exercises. Those Methods come from the Wu and Yang Styles from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia, but should be applicable to any Style of Taijiquan.

After training the „Walking Drills“ (which can be done leisurely during a daily walk in Nature) we aim to transfer the Body-Awarenes, „Energy-Permeability“, Left-Right Coordination, Hand-Feet Connection and subtle internal Body Tension to be acquired by these Practices to other Areas of most Taiji-Curricula,

-we will experiment with using it to produce (soft) Fa-Jin

-we will work on integrating it into Taiji-Form. This can either be the Form you are used to practice or a part of the seldom taught Wu/Yang Style-Branches I learned, of which I will teach the Specifics based on a Sequence of the respective Form. For all levels.
