Schedule of Events

The Eclipse Timeline in Sweetwater:

The Partial phase is expected to begin around 1:00 p.m. with totality beginning around 2:32 and ending around 2:35. Final partial phase will be complete around 3:30 p.m.

Remember during partial phases you must wear certified eye protection if you want to watch!

During the partial phases and during totality, the downtown area will restrict noise and lighting. We want everyone to focus on the "Star" of the show---- The Sun! Our awesome utility board will work their magic to keep the street lights from coming on in the festival area.

Remember- several sources are telling us that you can damage your photo equipment- including the cameras in your cell phone by taking photos during the eclipse. We would strongly encourage everyone to refrain from taking photos unless you have carefully researched and purchased the proper equipment to perform solar photography safely!
