Join us to toast mimosas or other beverages and to run an adventure trail in a new weekly location in the spirit of the Hash House Harriers aka hashing!

How does it work?
Each week a runner acting as, "the hare", will devise a new trail for, "the pack", to run.
Then Sunday morning, the hare will run ahead of the pack and create a brand new unrehearsed trail by marking with chalk and flour on pavement and grass for the pack to follow.
If we're fast, we might even be able to catch up with the hare! Of course, the hare doesn't want to get caught so they will zig and zag to make the trail more challenging (fun) and will sometimes leave a circle mark - that means the trail can go in any 369 degrees of direction - find a mark and if it leads to an X, that's a false trail, go back to the circle mark and find another mark and keep running!
It's a lot of fun, especially with friends!
What do I bring?
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing to run in - plan for the weather.
If it's very hot - bring your camelbak or other water gear.
I like to bring a long sleeve pullover for chilly days or rain or even post run cooldown.
We always have mimosas and water on hand (and often sodas, juice, or beer) - so no one will die of thirst :)
What to expect?
Our trails are always advertised as 6.9 miles long - that's the target mileage when we hare a trail - but since each trail is unique, they can range from 6 to 8-9 miles for a run-run trail.
We also try to offer a 5k (3.1ish mile) option for those training for a 5k run or getting back into running.
We're very social but also respect people's time, so here is a general outline of our Sunday Run-Run meet:
9:45am Meet - Social & Chalk Talk
9:59am Toast mimosa, beer, or juice for hares away
9:69am (10:09) On-Out for run
Short circle afterwards typically with mimosas and maybe a healthy snack
On-After brunch often
We do try to keep to schedule time but sometimes delay if we know you're on your way.
If you are a runner looking for a fun way to get your miles or a drinker looking to become a runner again, this is the kennel for you!

Sunday Run-Run Memorial Weekend Adventure
Date: 5/24/26
Hey guys - no running trail this Sunday - instead we're meeting up for a Memorial Weekend hike and camp-out!
The plan is to meet on Sunday 9:69am (aka 10:09am) at the WVU Medicine Center at 171 Taylor Street Harpers Ferry, WV. and carpool to our hike start location near Long Pine Run Reservoir in PA - in Michaux State Park & near Caledonia.
We'll hike ~8 miles on Sunday, camp or shelter, and ~8 miles on Monday, then carpool back sometime in the afternoon.
Reach out to us if you have any questions or to rsvp!
If you rsvp and are in Washington County, we can swing by to pick you up Sunday morning.
We'll be back next Sunday with a great trail - so come out & run where the course is an adventure and the mimosa's are thirst quenching (we also drink water).
