  • THE STICKY TREE FROGS BEAT HUDSON UNITED

The Sticky Tree Frogs are finally back to winning ways after a tough loss to Nordonia to open the season. The Lime and Purple beat Hudson United in a close 2-1 game with the goals coming from Brian Dugan in the 32', before Hudson equalized in the 41'. A few clutch defensive stops later before a Finn Obraza shot would be rebounded by Max Kenworthy to win the game for the Frogs in the 44'. Hudson put up a solid fight throughout the first half but in the end the physicality of a strong STF back line of Dugan, Kenworthy, Poluga, and McMullen was too much to match in the second. After generating little offense, Hudson were beaten in the midfield by the impressive transitional efforts of Datta, Yanelli, and Obraza.
