Yoga in the Park/Walk at Community Center Gym

Location: Community Park and Community Center Gym

Start your day in a refreshing, healthy way with outdoor yoga sessions hosted by Alicia Oldford - Qualified Yoga Instructor! Please bring your own mat/towel and water. The gym will also be open during this time for those who would like to go for a walk or run inside.

We will be accepting Food Bank donations at both locations for those wish to bring a non-perishable food item!

Beach Beautification

Location: Jack Howses Cove Beach

Enjoy bringing your children to meet new friends (and catch up with the old) at the place we used to gather as kids ourselves. Bring your own shovels, rakes, buckets or bags for collecting beach glass.

Grand Opening

Location: Community Playground - Alternate Area: Arena

Join us for the Opening Ceremonies to officially start the 2022 Come Home Year.

This event will host several guest speakers; Mr. Clifford Small (Federal MP), the Honorable Elvis Loveless (MHA), the Honorable John Abbott (Minister of Children, Seniors, and Social Development), Chief Misel Joe (Miawpukek First Nation), and Charlene Combdon (Exploits Ward Councilor for Qalipu First Nation).


After the opening remarks there will be a demonstration by Conne River Ribbon Dancers, as well as performances by Walene Benoit, Robert Organ and Philip Baker, Brianna Hoskins and Ava Organ, and Clyde Drew!


Ribbon and Cake cutting to take place as well. Let's get the Tardy Party started!

Location: St. Alban's Community Park

Come up to the Community Park and join us to watch the Fireworks to start the week off with a BANG!!!!
