Yoon was born as Yoon, Ah in Busan, Korea, and raised in a rural town. It was not until the age of 4 that she moved to the United States, where she was given the name "Salina."

• She is an author, illustrator, and format designer of nearly two hundred innovative novelty books for young children, specializing in formats that are unique and interactive.

• She enjoys creating books that have play-appeal, like Rock & Roll Colors; that make kids laugh and learn like Opposnakes; and that surprise and mesmerize like Kaleidoscope.

• She works out of her home studio, and lives in San Diego, California, with her husband, artist Chris Polentz, and their two sons.

• Morrison started his journey as a graffiti artist in New Jersey; however, it was the opportunity to tour with music artist, Sybil, as a breakdancer, and a visit to the Louvre Museum in Paris that opened him up to new artistic and creative avenues.

• He strives to capture people as they are, translating emotions through his paintings and leaving a memoir of our life and times today. His work depicts African-American livelihood in a way that is familiar and comforting to those who often feel histories have been forgotten and culture has been usurped.

 • He lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and five children.

Bowling wrote her first novel in 2017 and has not stopped since. She has written 10 novels for middle grades.

• She has won the Reading the West Award, the Sakura Medal, a Golden Kite Honor, the William Allen White Children's Book Award, and has been nominated for more than 40 state awards.

• Her books are Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selections and have been named best books of the year by the Chicago Public Library and numerous others.

 • She lives in Arizona with her husband, three daughters, and many farm animals.

• Khan is Pakistani-American Muslim who was born and raised in Maryland.

• She enjoys writing about her culture and religion, but has written about many other additional topics, from spies to space travel.

• She also spends time writing and editing for international organizations that work to improve health around the world.

• Khan spends her time exploring her obsession with Spain, ceramic tiles, pottery, food, flamenco, and coffee, but can also be found in the kitchen cooking or baking for those she loves most.
