About Mrs. Sozda
Welcome to Pre-K4s! My name is Denise Sozda. I've been teaching here at St. Mary School for 20 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from St. Thomas Aquinas College in NY and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Teaching from Fordham University. After being a stay-at-home mom for 9 years, I taught preschool for 10 years in Schwenksville before coming to St. Mary's, where I taught 2nd grade for 12 years. When the preschool opened, I jumped at the chance to return to my love of early childhood education. Outside of school, I enjoy going to the beach, cooking and reading.

My husband, Gene and I have two children and two grandchildren. We have been members of St. Mary's Parish for 36 years, have served on the Pastoral Council, and we are both scheduled Adorers in our Chapel.
