GOOD NEWS

In This Difficult Time

The latest CQC inspection of the surgery, carried out in early March, has found the surgery to be GOOD in all areas. This is a well-deserved outcome and the Patient Participation Group extends its congratulations to all the staff at Sollershott.

IMPORTANT NOTICE WRT CORONAVIRUS

The Practice has asked the PPG to post the following message.

To further protect our service, staff and patients we are now closing the doors to the surgery. If you need medical assistance not related to Coronavirus please call the surgery on 01462 683637 to book a telephone triage slot with a GP. Please be aware that telephone appointments will usually be in the morning and if the GP asks you to come in the face to face appointment will usually be in the afternoon.

If you need an appointment with a nurse or healthcare assistant please phone the surgery and speak to a receptionist.

Please do not queue at the front door to book an appointment you will be turned away and asked to phone.

We strongly recommend you chose a nominated pharmacy this will allow us to send an electronic version of your prescription straight to your nominated pharmacy meaning you do not have to visit us to collect your prescription. For those who do not have a pharmacy and come to the surgery you will need to ring the doorbell. Please note the staff coming to the door will be wearing gloves and a face mask for their protection. You may be asked to wait outside while your prescription is retrieved. Please be aware should we need to close our service completely you may not be able to obtain your prescription at all unless you nominate a pharmacy.

If you have been asked to come to the surgery please ask which door you should come to and ring the doorbell. A receptionist will come to the door and let you in. If you have been asked to be isolated on arrival the receptionist will take you straight to the isolation room. Please answer the surgery phone if it rings in the room as all non-clinical staff will be unable to enter the room with you.
