About The Teacher

HOWDY!

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and attended a number of schools in the Aldine area, including Grantham. I am so excited to be back at my panther home to serve the students sitting in the desks I once sat in.

I attended Baylor University and Texas A&M University for my undergraduate studies and returned to A&M for my master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I specialize in urban education and middle school science instruction. With the Panthers and Aggies sharing the same colors, I proudly bleed maroon!

My goal as an educator is to create a memorable experience that resonates with my students- an experience that inspires them to learn more, study more, dream more, and do more! It is my personal mission to see to it that every student reaches their full potential. I genuinely believe that all of my students are capable of mastering the abstract concepts presented to them throughout the course, and I am dedicated to see them through!

I teach science because I marvel at the wonders of this world, I teach middle school because I cherish the precious creations that dwell within it.
