Sirajganj Technical School and College is located in central city of Sirajganj district which was established in 1966 under the Directorate of Technical Education , Ministry of Education. The Institute started functioning as Vocational Training Institute by offering two years trade course program in two different trades with enrolment capacity of 20 students per trade per year which was 80 in total. In 2003 the Institute was renamed as Sirajganj Technical School and College which has been offering Vocational courses in different level to prepare graduates for jobs and further education.

To establish dignity and status of vocational graduates in the workplace and in the living society SSC (Vocational) and HSC (Vocational) courses were introduced in 1995 and offering additional 2 more trades with increased enrolment capacity to 40 students in each trade by which total enrolment has been reached to 640. Including 2nd shift of SSC (Vocational) total enrolment reached to 960 . Diploma in Engineering course in one Technology has been launched in 2016. There are 50 seats here. At present total enrolment reached to 1160.
