Teaching Experience:

I am excited to be a part of the Monarch family this year. I have nineteen years of teaching experience in K4, Kindergarten, first, and second. The past five years, I have taught a multi-age class consisting of first and second graders. I am a double graduate of Clemson University with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a Masters in Literacy. First grade is a favorite of mine and I look forward to a fantastic year!

Family Life:

My family recently moved to the area from Mount Pleasant, SC. My husband, Randy and I, have been married for 23 years. He is a Clemson graduate, as well. We have two children. Grier is a sophomore at Clemson University, majoring in Packaging Science. Elli is a freshman at Lees-McRae College (Banner Elk, NC), majoring in Sports Management. She is also a member of their swim team. We have two Shih Tzu dogs, Wicket (11 years) and Sullivan Belle (5 years).
