DROP OFF

Vehicles may park in marked parking spaces either in the basketball courts or in the parking lot. The student is to stay with the adult at all times until reaching the classroom. Both student and adult are to stay in the crosswalks until reaching the inner yard and follow the directions of the Parking Lot Attendant.

PICK UP

When you are picking up your student from class:

All Students must be picked up from class by an adult. Adults must sign children in and out of the classroom. Please be thoughtful of our volunteers and pick your children up on time, however we understand that you may be late due to unforeseen circumstances. If you are running late your child will be taken to the Kennedy Center or the office.

DO NOT PARK OR WAIT IN ANY AREA THAT DOES NOT HAVE A MARKED PARKING STALL!

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES is an adult to wait in a car on a city street for a student.

SAFETY POLICY

Due to the serious safety problems, irresponsible driving or actions and unchristian behavior perpetrated on our volunteer security, it is necessary to enforce the following policy:

Parents will be offered an alternative to traditional instruction if the following circumstances occur:

• Driver refuses to follow directions of parking lot volunteers.

-Driver is verbally or physically abusive to parking lot volunteers.

-Driver is given more than 2 warnings about parking lot procedures.

-Drivers who park in the street or library parking lot fail to escort their student(s) to or from the inner yard/pick-up area.

Student's will be removed from on-site programs.

PARKING LOT ETIQUETTE

At all times follow the directions from the crosswalk guides. These are only two entrances open for classes: the main parking lot entrance next to the Kennedy Center and the Cedar Street Entrance. All other entrances are locked.
