In May 2004, he received the IEEE Western Canada Council Ted Glass Merit Award for “Outstanding contribution, dedication and leadership to the
Southern Alberta Section, Western Canada Council and IEEE Canada.”
Rob also received the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Millennium Medal for outstanding service to the organization in 2000.
