The White Oak Trail is on state land, and maintained by the Township Environmental Commission. The Wescott Preserve was the first county park, right in the Rosemont section of Delaware Township! Explore the series of beautiful, interconnected walking trails. The Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park extends across central New Jersey, with a particularly spectacular day-use area in Delaware Township, right on the river. Plan your day well, and you can easily cover all three areas, and enjoy a picnic near the river or canal. Don't forget the tick repellant!
