Introduction

The Radio Cosmology Research Laboratory for Radio Astronomy is located at Block B, Physics Department, Faculty of Science, University of Malaya. The lab was founded by Dr. Zamri Zainal Abidin and Dr. Zainol Abidin Ibrahim in 2005 and is the first and, currently, the only radio astronomical laboratory facility in Malaysia. The ‘Radio Lab’, as it was called then, is now officially a research group in University of Malaya.

Upcoming 15th East Asian VLBI Workshop

After the successful first and second Malaysian VLBI Workshop held in Kuala Lumpur in 2019 and 2022, a third meeting on the advances the VLBI situation in the country after three years which will be held in 2024. The 15th East Asian VLBI Workshop will take place at The Grand Beach Resort, Port Dickson on upcoming 28th October until 1st November 2024. This event will be in conjunction with 3rd Malaysian VLBI Workshop and 5th UM-NARIT Bilateral Symposium.
