Computational Biology

This is an upper elective course for biology students that introduces computer simulations and computational biology. I'll post the lecture notes in the near future. I'm in the process of updating them, and I'm giving students instructions on how to implement models in a spreadsheet, in Matlab/Octave and in Python.....

I also wrote a couple of papers in Spreadsheets in Education. The first was entitled Mathematical Modelling and Computer Simulations in Undergraduate Biology Education, based off this course, and the second was Spreadsheet Model of COVID-19 Transmission: Evaporation and Dispersion of Respiratory Droplets that is used in one of the lectures.
