When some pets visit a clinic, unfamiliar scents, bright lights, and new faces can trigger anxiety. Elevated stress hormones like cortisol affect their mood and even their vital signs.
During at-home pet exams, pets may stay relaxed because their surroundings don’t change. Cats, in particular, are sensitive to travel. Dogs might pant, drool, or even get car sick.
Sometimes you just have to go into a clinic; for the times that you don’t, there is another option, a veterinary house call.

Travel Fees (House Call)

Trip charges help cover travel time, fuel, and the setup of our mobile unit so we can bring services directly to you.
Because every location is different, trip fees may vary. In some cases, trip charges may be reduced if we are already scheduled in your area.

Over 75 Ibs: $245
Euthanasia with communal cremation (no ashes returned):

Prices include sedation and comfort care. Additional fees may apply for extended travel, urgent, or after-hours visits.

Weight-based injections: In veterinary medicine, many injectable medications and anesthetics are dosed by body weight.

Deposits are required before dispatch, are based on the travel fee, and are non-refundable.
