I have always been intrigued by faces in nature. I decided to play around with it.
Design:

Contrast is important in the shadows where the face contours fall in the background.
Repetition is that the highlights, coloring and levels are consistent throughout the image.
Alignment of the faceon the rock was strategic based on how the rock and trees sit.
Proximity was used symbolically in that the face is at the top or the head.
