Kia ora. My name is Sarah. I created the Pop-up Kids Market in 2019. I was inspired by other fantastic kids markets and wanted to do my bit to reduce our contribution to landfill. Parenthood can become very expensive, very quickly to buy new - only to find your little ones have grown out of it (or bored of it) within a few months. There has to be a better way.

At the Pop-up Kids Market in Havelock North we match sellers with buyers. Stallholders can sell and shoppers can buy pre-loved (second-hand) baby & kids clothing, toys, books, bikes, baby gear and equipment. Maternity clothing and accessories are also welcome.

No two markets are the same and there are always bargains to be had.

The Pop-up Kids Markets are held at Havelock North Scout Hall, 24 Napier Road, 8.30am-11am.

My pledge: the markets do not make a profit. Each market may have a chosen charity who may run a cake bake stall and/or sausage sizzle. At the end of the year, if there are any funds left over, the proceeds will go to Re-source (@resourcehb) - an amazing not-for-profit serving our local community.
