Writing my power back

Way back when
Back then
Everyone but me
Knew me better than me
The days when my vision Was
Not a clear 20/20
The days when the environment where
I lived became a source of stress and anxiety
Inside of me
Constant rumination and worry
About the drama I faced over resources that I worked for
But was expected to give to those who relied on me
It’s not like I asked to go through this situation
However, to this day this situation is an ongoing cycle
A cycle that I intend to break free of one day
Which is the rhyme and reason
Life is a challenging season that I am writing my power back.
